
His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, attended this morning a ceremony honoring the winners of the Sharjah Award for Doctoral Dissertations in Administrative Sciences, which honored the Arab world in its eighteenth and nineteenth sessions.
The ceremony began with verses from the Noble Qur’an, after which Dr. Hamid Majul Al Nuaimi, Director of the University of Sharjah, gave a speech in which he thanked His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi for her attendance and honor. to her. A ceremony honoring His Highness and honoring a number of researchers in the Arab world, indicating that the award promotes and celebrates outstanding students in various fields from the regional and global footprint of the University of Sharjah and the role it plays.
In his speech, the President of the University explained the award process and its objectives, saying: “The award has developed and evolved continuously until it has established a long tradition of honoring researchers who prove their competence in the field of administrative sciences. Of the 1,242 researchers whose theses were nominated for the award, 47 were at the award’s inception, 239 of them in finance and 952 in management sciences.
At the end of his speech, he congratulated the award winners in the eighteenth and nineteenth sessions, members of the Board of Trustees and the Scientific Jury for their wonderful commitment.
The winners provided a summary of their award-winning doctoral theses, which included the research objectives, the problem addressed, its significance, the methodology used, the study findings and recommendations, and their application areas.
At the end of the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi honored the winners and sponsors.
The Sharjah Prize for the best doctoral thesis in administrative sciences in the Arab world (the eighteenth session) in the administrative sciences category was won by Dr. Farid Mahmoud Al-Amri / United Arab Emirates / in first place, Dr. Muhammad bin Hamdan Al. – I mean. / Saudi Arabia / in second place, and Dr. Hassan Suhail Muhammad Ghara / Syrian Arab Republic / third place.
In the financial category, Dr. Ahmed Hani Hammoud Al Damour (Kingdom of Jordan), Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Ali Al Jabr (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), and Dr. Hamad Salmin Saeed bin Al took second place. -Aas. And Zoa (Yemen) came in third place.
